Laura P. Thomas is the founder, published author, and creative visionary behind Kulchure Kolors Studios and its flagship ministry, Mother Restored. As a passionate writer and storyteller, Laura uses her God-given gifts to encourage creativity, spark joy, and share the profound love of Christ through inspiring books, custom stationery, and uplifting Christian merchandise.

For years, Laura walked a deeply painful and isolating path, navigating the heavy silence of family estrangement from her own daughter. Experiencing firsthand what it means to suffer in silence as a mother—grieving a relationship while feeling like there was nowhere to turn and no one who truly understood the depth of the heartbreak—she knew something had to change. Out of that profound wilderness, God gave her a vision. Laura founded Mother Restored as a sacred, intentional outlet and sanctuary for other mothers walking through this exact experience, providing them with the comfort, community, and spiritual anchors she wished she had during her darkest days.

Laura’s creative and ministry work is deeply informed by her lifelong commitment to serving others. With over 20 years of experience in direct care, she has a heart for nurturing individuals with unique needs, helping them find their voice and independence. This passion for service extends into the classroom and the kitchen, where she has taught essential life skills and nutrition, ensuring that those in her care are nourished in both body and spirit.

When she isn't writing or designing high-end custom resin goods and apparel, Laura is a dedicated arts and crafts enthusiast who loves working with her hands to bring beauty into the world. Her mission remains constant and unshakeable: to turn her deepest personal trials into a comfort for others, using her diverse experiences in caregiving and creativity to glorify God, mend broken hearts, and build His Kingdom one intentional work at a time.
